This sophisticated renovation project for the multinational law firm thoughtfully integrates technology and collaboration spaces with modern workspaces and attorney offices. The project also took an adaptive reuse approach, retaining 60% of the existing structure while implementing significant upgrades throughout the legal office's two floors. Some of those upgrades include a new floating staircase with illuminated glass and leather-wrapped handrails to connect the floors and maximize the space's city and bay views, as well as a dynamic LED wall that reflects the colors of the San Francisco sky at various times of day. While the client occupied the space during construction, Skyline Construction was able to avoid disruption to their day-to-day operations through constant communication and meticulous planning early in the process. Other highlights of the project include attorney offices, support workspaces, and a central hospitality hub with polished concrete floors and wood slat ceilings. Skyline also worked closely with the client and design teams to reduce overall project cost by 14.5% and delivered the high-quality, functional, and visually impressive office space the team envisioned.
