Chad Krause joins Skyline Construction
Skyline Construction is pleased to welcome Chad Krause as Vice President of Operations in Northern California. Chad brings 25 years of experience in construction project management, field management, and operational leadership. Based out of Skyline’s Santana Row office, he will oversee operations across the company’s four Northern California offices. Chad will focus on expanding market share throughout the Bay Area, with a specific focus on large-scale, campus projects located in Silicon Valley. He will ensure a seamless client service experience while driving operational excellence.
Chad has an extensive background in large-scale campus projects and complex developments. Some of his notable clients include Apple, Meta and Intuitive Surgical. His unique perspective comes from his field experience, having risen through the ranks as a superintendent, which has equipped him with a holistic understanding of the construction process. Chad is known throughout the industry as a builder who understands what it takes to bring a project from concept to completion.
Chad comes to Skyline from Build Group, where he served as Vice President of Operations and led the company’s financial reporting process, championed new technologies, and dramatically boosted their quality assurance and control programs.

Chad is a graduate of California State University, Chico, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He’s held leadership roles at Build Group, AvalonBay Communities, Turner Construction, and Howard S. Wright Construction.
